We have 5 workstations in addition to a dedicated workstation that holds all of the files. This dedicated workstation has two hard drives because I use one for a real estate appraisal application that needs a lot of storage. All of the systems have XP Professional and networked them on a peer to peer. The problem I have is that there is one and sometimes two of the same workstations that loses the network drive to that appraisal application. I have to manually redirect the path and it works fine for a day and then it happens again. I changed network cards but still happens. Any thoughts?

try turning off all power management for the network cards.

I'll try it when I get there later in the morning. Thanks

I disabled the network card's power management but it continues to have problems losing the mapped drive

Try disabling standby on those machines too.
