XP Pro Pgm Ending-Not Responding

    Recently, every time I re-start or shutdown, a screen displays w/ the Pgm Ending-Not Responding msg. There's also a WMS - Idle Pgm Ending msg. I have to Ctrl-Alt-Del to end the Pgm so that XP will close & shutdown. I use CCleaner. Thankyou

    Hi

    Its likely you have a few running applications that are not stopping on shutdown, DO you use msconfig to manage startups?

    Also please post a screenshot of your startups and you can get this from CCleaner and its Tools > Startup list, so we can see if one/more of them are causing this.

    Yes Halo...I use msconfig to keep them to a minimum. Here's the screenshot of my startups. I did notice a couple items that seem new. I'll also check to see if any pgm's are not closing properly. Thankyou
