Hello friends I am having some problem with this program. The tuneup undelete I
could not find the setting for it. I am having a problem when I deleted
a folder or other items I could not find the deleted items. Anyone can
show me how to set it so it will not deleted without a trace and when I
make a mistake of deleting I can get it back. I wish to set it back to the default recycle bin as you click open you can see the deleted files. Any help to set it back will be much appreciate. I am using the portable version of tuneup utilities. My OS. XP Pro. SP3. Thanks.

I just checked the program in Virtual XP. Go into settings and refer to the picture. :)

    Or just don't click "empty."

Thanks PSCO2007 and _nullptr. I have check the two images and find that it is as you have shown. When you right tuneup undelete there are 4 tabs, 1.explore, 2. tuneup undelete, 3. create shortcut, 4. properties. There is no other tabs which you can open and see the just deleted files as the default recycle bin show. If you delete a file or folder and after awhile then you go to tuneup undelete you could not see the files you have deleted after a scan. I am using the portable version as mentioned. Any further help will be much appreciate.

I don't know how Tuneup Utilities works, but as a test uninstall it ( you can always reinstall.)

Do a test of something you do not care about and delete it.

Then, open Recycle bin (it is on desktop) and you will see the option to delete - don't click it.

Close the recycle bin and open again and you will see the deleted file, just not permanently, and you can click "restore."

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the portable versions of this application cracked versions?
If so, I'm not going to waste my time investigating some buggy unofficial software release that I have no interest in. Furthermore, it would be against the TOS for this forum to do so.

Which program are you referring to?
You referred to Tuneup Utilities.(and posted a pic)
I am referring to Window Recycle Bin on Desktop.:confused

Since he responded originally to Pengwah, I thought he was questioning me.

Thanks for all who have respond to my question. I do not know that a simple question to ask for help here have cause such a commotion with our friendly members. As in _nullptr post I am not sure of that matter as I have come across during a search for this portable version and try it. This site is popular for portable version and have been a long time. If my question for help regarding this application cause such uneasiness or against the rules please close it.

    @pengwah
The problems you are seeing are due to the fact that these portable cracked versions are not fully functional.
If you want full functionality, then you'll need to get the official build.
