I run Windows XP Service Pack 2. Should I upgrade to Service Pack 3?:confused

Yes, for security purposes it is a good idea.

But be aware, there is a significant leap in ideal resources needed. A box with 256M RAM is miserably slow with SP3. Most here recommend at least 1G, though I've set some up with just 512M that run pretty good. 1G is better, depends on your wallet.

    Hi

yes no reason not too, so long as your PC is malware free and yoru have latest current and upto date antivirus applications as those are known to make service pack updates fail.

All SP3 will add for you is stability in XP and some minor updates and some security updates, but no speed improvements, but its good for just the security patch updates.
