XP slow to boot. Possible malware?

    Recently my PC has been slow to boot. It reaches the welcome screen fine and then slows. The desktop is displayed without any icons for more than 3 minutes then all starts fine. I have gone through all the steps in the READ and RUN me first thread and found a few instances of malware but boot is still slow. I am including the logs for you to examine.

    This is not a malware issue. :)

    I would suggest that you post in the software section as they may help you tweak your system.

    I would suggest you use a Startup Manager.
