XP Home or Professional... gesh, Media Center too...

Looking for a best way to download and save updates... I have the service packs and looking to create an installation of updates with all of it.

Pointers appreciated, strong source for downloading a compiled archive, including Microsoft but wondered if someone is already in process of making the XP installation process quick and painless.

Autopatcher has APUP, it is designed to update XP post Service Pack 3.
It downloads updates & tweaks & puts them in a handy format ready to burn on a CD if you want or just run them from a USB key.

Or WSUS offline update get it here at MG's. It will create an ISO ready to go.

If you want to intergrate all the patches into an XP install, get Ryan VM integrator, you can roll all patches, drivers, anything you need into an install disk with that tool.
