XP won't start after reboot

    I am finding more of these instances lately of clients computers that suddenly will not boot up and start black screen with messages that there are key OS files missing. The two recently are XPSP2 machines that hve updated thier microsoft and anti-virus file faithfully.
    Anyone else know of this?
