My brother reinstalled windows xp on my sisters computer. I then created 4 users. I thought the Administator account would then hide and only be available in safe mode.

However when I reboot the computer goes to a black screen and two popup come up, one in front of the other. The front one says it can not log me in. Click ok. The back one looks like an old win 98 log in. When I hit the ok button on the front screen, xp goes then goes on into the screen that shows the four users that I installed.

Why is Xp still trying to log the administrator in?

How can I get Xp to go directly to the four users welcome screen?

Ok guys I finally figured it out myself!

I went in to control Passwords2 and noticed that windows had lost the administrator's password.

    I added it and rebooted.

Now it boots up only the 4 accounts that I added!

    I guess I'm getting a little geeker

    Nice work!

I had read this thread but didn't have an XP computer around to test a fix on. I thought control userpasswords2 might be the key but it doesn't run in win7 so I couldn't look around.
