XTrap Problem

    Hi

    Can't believe I'm here again :(

    I installed an open beta game for my son. A week had no problems then latest patch update Avira picked up as a trojan in Xtrap file. I quarantined it. Next day another file alert from Avira but this time in the System Volume (would this be because of system restore?). Quarantined that too. I'm not the only one, forums are full of the same situation.

    Have not opened the game again, and game site has not released any news. I want to uninstall the game but haven't yet because i want to make sure it's all gone. Also want to make sure it hasn't spread any further. Not sure if I should roll back or what.

    You can flush your system restore ....and if Avira has quarantined the file ...you can delete it. If you want us to check your system, you know what to do:
