    this person sent me a link, they said they had pictures he wanted to post of me online with a link, I clicked the link, and being an idiot I downloaded what it said, and the firefox thing downloaded it, and of course Im an idiot. After I downloaded it my aIM started popping up radom buddywindows. During the installation the icon next to the download bar said MSDOS with red and yellow, what should I do, I cant run macfee because it wont let me, the scan button doesnt work

    yup, now firefox doesnt have any history or extensions it had before, im really worried now, please someone help me

    [EDIT] Link Removed! Why on earth would you post a link that infected your computer and risk infecting other members of this forum!? Do NOT post such links here.

    Now, as you've had other threads in this forum before you know the procedure. Start following the steps in the READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support and attach the 3 requested logs when you are done. If you have any problems with the steps please indicated that in your reply.

    As a final note: Threads in this forum are answered oldest to newest. Each time you reply to your thread you move it to the bottom of the queue. [/EDIT]

    the thing is, I dont know if it infected me or not, im not sure at all, Ive run all sorts of scans etc etc

    heres the logfile. please help

    Please run the READ & RUN ME if you want help. HijackThis will not show all kinds of infections. In fact it is very limited in what it does show. That is why it is the last step not the first.

    One thing I will tell you right now that should be removed is Bearshare!

    can you check out the link some way to see what it is.........bearshare pro, ya I didnt pay for it so I guess ill uninstall that ;)

    If you followed the steps in the Read Me, where are the two logs requested in step 6 and why is HijackThis installed exactly where we request that it not be installed. As I said in my last message HJT logs by themselves are not that useful. If you want an answer based on posting only you HJT log and nothing else, then we are done! Your all clean other than Bearshare and the below:
