    Hi friends

    Starting from the beginning . . .

Last week, I got the new Yahoo mailbox. It worked fine, no probs at all.

Yesterday, a box opened when I entered my Yahoo mail. The box was from Yahoo, asking/telling me to do something, I don't remember what it was but I think it was a tutorial. I accepted and immediately I received a warning from IE, jpg attached. I have to click on it 3 times before I can continue and it pops up each time I open an email, go to a folder, really anything inside Yahoo mail.

I don't know if it's an IE prob, a Yahoo prob or some type of malware.

I just did a system restore to 2 days ago, prior to my accepting, but I continue to receive the pop-up, jpg attached.

Could this be malware or is there a Windows/IE fix?

Hope to hear from somebody soon . . . thanks in advance

I don't know if these errors relate to this matter. If it does, can somebody translate this into English so I know what to do |

Well, i've tried a number of solutions that i found on the internet but they didn't work for me. I'm still hoping that i won't have to reformat but I hate bugs like this. I'm still open to receiving some advice.

    So far . . .

    - I've disabled scripting of Java applets and active scripting. This worked for the error message but Yahoo requires them so it would've defeated the purpose so I enabled them again.

    - I unistalled JRE and reinstalled it

    - I uninstalled and reinstalled adobe

    - I cleaned the machine of things such as invalid registry items, junk files, cookies, browing history, etc, using Advanced WindowsCare

    - I used Tools --> Internet Options --> Delete
Security tab --> Reset all zones to default level
Content tab --> Clear SSL state
Connections tab --> Automatically detect settings
"Use automatic configuration script" and "Proxy server" were not checked
In Add-Ons, I verified each by checking that the publisher names are valid
Advanced tab --> “Restore advanced settings”

    - I ran Avast and SUPERAntiSpyware Professional and they found no malware, not even cookies

    - I did a Restore to a date prior to accepting Yahoo's new email program

From what I understand by reading up on this problem, Yahoo's script is not allowing complete reading in my pc so it bounces it back in the form of the Error Message.

If anyone has any other ideas, please let me know, please, please, please !!

    Denise
