yahoo mail help

I'm trying to help a friend figure something out.
He can't delete mail in yahoo mail online from his spambox individually, he can only empty the spambox, but cannot delete them one-by-one.

The other issue is, if he gets a store flyer in his inbox, he can't click on the flyer in which it'll normally force open a new tab with the stores website.

I've tried everything I could think of as to why it's not working and this is a last resort posting here for any ideas, thanks.

 

Check to see if your friend's browser is using some type of script or ad blocking (plugin). If that's the case then you may have to create a rule/exception for that particular website.

What browser is your friend using? Firefox has plugins that can prevent such scripts from working properly.

 

I believe he's using IE7 or 8, but he does have Spybot installed, wondering if there's anything there that may be causing all this now that you mention it.

 

Okay, it's IE7.
As for addons, basically, Microsoft stuff a couple of Adobe for Flash and that's about it...and Spybot's own addon.

 

Yep, worked fine in FF, lol, already had it installed on their system.
