yahoo messenger not working

hello friends,

here is my story-

1.My ymsg was running fine 4-5 months back.After a few weeks,when i signed in,it opens -->showed connected i clicked enter chat but not opened main room-->closed this box.

2.now i click chat button -->double clicked at chat room --> no responce--> chat error -->signing in to chat took longer than expected .please try again later.I tried many times but failed to open it.

3.Now i scan my computer with-( IN safe mode)
1.AVG
2.AD-AWARE SE PERSONAL
3.SPYBOT-Search & destroy
4.lastly with online housecall.trendmicro(in normal mode)
but again the same result

4.now i uninstalled ymsg completely including .exe ,C:\Program Files & from registry also

5.now i reinstalled ymsg 7,enable my proxy connection with correct server ,port name & T1/LAN option.--->signed in --->again no response with new chat error "You have been signed out because you signed in on a different computer or device"

6. i have tried this one also many times but failed to open any room.

7.now i opened new ID but results are same

8.I also tried to open my ID on different computer on same LAN connection again the same result

9.But when i signed in ymsg on other computer in cafe(on different connection) ,it runs fine

Can any one help me to fix my problem ?

download trilllian. it have aim, msn, yahoo, and icq all in one.

 

I second that. I used to use Yahoo Messenger, but changed to Trillian. YM was too big a resource hog, on my PC. Trillian is free, but requires you to download another piece of software, around 12-14mb in size, to allow you to run it. Once Trillian is up and running it is very easy on CPU resources.

oops, i meant, it HAS aim, msn, yahoo, and icq. silly typos. i have never used msn, or yahoo, but why have 1 when you can have 4. that pretty much insures that you can contact anyone, no matter what messaging program they have!
