    my yahoo instant messenger keeps logging me off as soon as i log in. I even reformatted an reinstalled windows xp after a reinstall of yahoo was only a temporary fix ( about 5 min. before the problem came back)



    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    If you have reinstalled Windows XP, it is unlikely that your problems are malware related. It may just be that someone has changed your password. Create a new temp account and see if the samething still happens.

    We can check for malware if you wish by having you do the below, but after a reinstall you should be clean unless you reinstalled from infected media or reinstalled infected backups.

    If you wish to check for malware, please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.
