    How do I get rid of that annoying Yahoo Messenger, its not on control panel or in program files?
    I have Windows 7 Home Premium. T.I.A.

    (1) Go to Start Menu > Run...
    (2) Type in "msconfig" (without the quotes)
    (3) Go to start-up tab and uncheck the yahoo messenger service.
    (4) Reboot and see if that helps.

    Alternatively, you can also...

    (1) Open the Yahoo Messenger
    (2) Click on "Messenger" in the toolbar and select "Preferences."
    (3) Under the "General" category, uncheck the box next to "Automatically Start Yahoo! Messenger"
    (4) Click "Apply" and "Ok"
