Yeaha high speed

Just a quick one to let you all know how elated i am.my internet provider sent me an email last week offering a free upgrade to adsl+2 well i jumped on the band wagon and gave them a call now i get the same plan for $10 a month cheaper with the magical difference of download speeds of 1100 kbs instead of 170 kbs,that is flaming awesome.:-D:-D:-D

Having been down to below 9.5kbps in the past on a 2m line, I think I know how much that "little" speed-up must feel .

My download speed is 1981 KBS here in my office, about the same speed as yours at home.

Satrow, 9.5 Kbs, you must have the patience of a saint. I don't think I could stand to use a computer at that speed.

 

Oh, brandypeppy! You should have my dial up!!! downloading files at 2.1kbps is pretty darn S-L-O-W, but hi-speed is not in my area yet! Doubt if it ever will be. But, a DUN will get ya online, just a little slow, and NO U-tube but I do live without U-tube...

Right now I have 28.8Kbps dial-up. But getting back to work again, will be looking into what my cellphone service provider has. It's a bit cheaper than satellite Internet is.

But I'll confess, I do at lot of this at my work desk. While typing, it makes it look like I'm actually busy doing something!:wave
