Yet another "core.cache.dsk" victim...

I have gone through the "read and run first" sticky, and after perusing these forums, it seems that every fix is unique to the machine in question.
I have run spybotsd and, subsequently, HJT, and removed some of the obvious stuff, but no joy. IE is auto-launching to spyware removal sites.
Let me know what logs or system info you'd like to see and I'll post it ASAP.
I've downloaded (but not installed) the various utilities I found recommended here.
Thanks for all the hard work you guys do. It makes Windows almost usable....

If you already read the "Read and Run First" then you already know which logs to post and how to attach them. You will need to do this before an Authorized Malware Fighter is able to help you.

Heh...I really did read it, but I missed a link on another page. Looks like that took care of it. The smitfraud virus(?) is a clever implementation, isn't it? Kinda reminds me why I quit using Windows several years ago...
