   Hello
   
   I have problem with dialer generic too detected by norton and cant seem to get the thing off the system. Also not a computer wizard so have no idea what to do. can anyone help please?

   Before we go thru a long process of malware removal, please just tell us where Norton is finding the problem. If it is being found in a folder with System Volume Information then it is just in System Restore and cannot be cleaned unless you disable System Restore. This info is mentioned in your Norton help information somewhere.
