where is port fowarding in the router? i need it to setup realvnc so i can access my computer from school and jareds house

 

Well, for the DI-624 there are a few ways. Go to the advanced tab, under virtual server you can allow ANY internet ip into a specific internal IP and port.
The other is under the advanced tab again, the Firewall button. There you have to specify the origination IP connection or the the range and again the specific IP and port in your LAN. The last and most undesirable would be to put that computer in the DMZ and configure a software firewall to filter out everything but your VNC and use GOOD password techniques!
