YOOG ans slow Internet access

    YOOG and slow Internet access

    Hi, I have been watching posts related to the yoog search, since we acquired it the pc is extremely slow. I have been running your Malwarebytes, have the CA package through roadrunner, have spybot, adaware, but nothing seems to get rid of it and problem remains. I saw that you mentioned the repair may be different for each pc. I have a Dell, windows xp, pentium 4, 2.00 GHz, 1.00GB RAM, run mozilla. Can you help or point me in the right direction? Thanks!

    yoog, is nasty, but first you have to start here: http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35407 to make sure the bases are covered.

    Make sure in the ccleaner step you select to remove old prefect data in the advanced section. As a matter of fact, after the scan, look in the folder c:\windows\prefetch and make sure nothing is in there.

    Then post up the logs here and we'll take a look.
