No matter what site I go to I get a Box with a small red x in it, instead of the applet. I have removed all versions of Java. Reinstalled IE7 to the latest version. And reinstalled Java to the latest version. I've checked the settings in both the IE options and the Java control panel to make sure it is enabled. The OS is Windows XP SP2. Any thoughts as to what may be causing the issue.

    Hi

    Try the following HERE

Also what security applications do you have installed, also include any popup blockers and toolbars? and what you could try is below....

    1. Try IE in its No-Addons mode, close all IE windows and click Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools and then IE no-addons and see if it happens still.
    2. Disable your security applications to test one of them is not blocking the images.
    3. Try Safe Mode (F8 at boot and choose Safe Mode with Networking)
