" YouTube.Com Problem "

I have Win XP and when I visit YOUTUBE.COM I can't get a video to load and play. Yes, I have the latest Adobe Macromedia Flash Player and my Java is enabled...I can even play the trailer on the home page but the other videos won't load or play...instead when I click on them it takes me to another page and asks me how I liked the video and to rate it. I'm stumped on this one...How do I get the videos on YOUTUBE.COM to load and play? I appreciate all the help in advance! Thanks!

 

Not sure about that site, you may need a program like Real player or what ever their site is setup to use, somewhere on their site it should tell you. ed

 

what are your system specs, and what broswer are you using? i use youtube.com all the time, all i had to do was install adobe flash player 9 and macromedia flash player. were you able to play movies from that site before? or have you just begun visiting youtube.com. you have to wait for the movies to buffer, some take longer to load than others as they have a multitude of youtube server hosts.

 

what is your internet connection speed? if you have dial up or a slow connection speed it will take ages for the videos to appear

 

yep i have the same problem it stop working two week ago i never had anyproblem before but now it's not working still did not found the answers to fix the problem.....

I just try the link with final fantaisy in the front page thing i click play and it work but not on youtube....... ?????? !!!!!!!

 

maybe the videos are trying to view have been removed due to copyright infrigement. i recently notice a lot of my favorites have broken links due to this violation now :-/

 

have you tried researching for the videos that have been removed? they might still be on the site under different links, maybe youtube has just tidied up a bit.

what i would recommend doing is trying videos on google video to determine whether its a youtube problem or a problem with your pc

 

I have the same problem as Rgarr with utube.(original poster). I have researched other sites and they work fine. Google Video works fine. But No youtube. So ya'll keep thinking and we will keep trying. Don't give up on us. Thanks TexasBill

 

Once again, what browser? What extensions/addons are installed?

U-tube works great in FF (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060907 Minefield/3.0a1 ID:2006090704 [cairo])

 

http://www.softwarepatch.com/internet/flash.html download latest version of player. Youtube will work. worked for me.

 

I want to thank you TexasBill youtube work now after installing the flash player from your link so rgarr you should try maybe it will work for you to.....
