Youtube/TV Inconsistancy

Was a little stuck whether to put this in software, networking, or multimedia.

Dumb question - finally decided to try streaming movies, and I noticed that the blueray player sprouted a Youtube option after it was wired in.

The oddity is in search results - about the most extreme example I've found is the user bbcrobotwarsuk. If I bring up that YT name on my computer here, he has 500+ videos online comprising multiple seasons of the show. If I search for that name on the TV, I get 15-18 results, none of which form a single coherent episode.

What gives?
