METROPOLITAN LINE: Minor delays are occurring due to a person on the track earlier at Northwick Park.

It smells really, really bad :(

    Hehe....common occurrence in OZ too!
Many lie down when they have had enough of this world.

Feel sorry for the drivers and those that have to pick up the pieces!

    Regards...

Glad I cycled to work today... I'm normally heading West on the Met line in the morning.

I can accept that standing in front of a train is a quick and easy way out if you are looking for one but I don't want to know about it more than that... especially not by smell. Got to be a less messy way.

Oh, where are you coming from? Uxbridge, Watford, Amersham? If you're going into central you probably go past my house nearly every day :)

We had similar a few months ago by our house...a transient on the line as the amtrack came through. Those things go fast, as did the transient, RIP.

Heading west I'm afraid. Jump on at King X and take my chances on the District/Circle/Met lines... Usually end up on the Met line because it's the only one that works ;-).

The main west coast line from Scotland to London goes through our village,I'm about 1\2-1\4 mile away,in the past the intercity 125's '125mph' passed here, sounded like the world was coming to an end :D

EDIT I wouldnt mind dying by train, much rather jump from high though and skydive down, one last thrill, funny if you like it so much its your new reason to live, try to form a rudimentary parachute from your boxers, you can always jump off a line if the 125mph train coming toward you doesnt look appealling

I have two sets of tracks out behind my house...most are used to tranport cars and heavy equipment( and yes they make the house shake!).Once in awhile we will get amtrack going by. I think the whole time we've lived by the tracks there has been a few deaths (5 I think) n we've been here for over 14 years. One that has happened just a few years ago their truck broke down on the tracks....good thing they had time to get out n call 911 (999 to all you English folks..lol)
