Hello, Yesterday I had Zedo making It's way through my computer and giving me popup after popup and generally making my computer slow. I followed all the steps in the malware section and seem to have removed it all. The only problem I'm having now is downloading files, I get this error... C:\Program Files\Silkroad\X33\x33.dll.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.

Try again later, or contact the server administrator

Any idea how to fix it? (The message is given through FireFox)

Through IE I get the message, Intenet explorer cannot download the file x33.dll from 0x33.org. The connection with the server has been reset.

(Apologies for double post, here's the last log)

The problem I had downloading seems to have gone, I had to remove my antivirus. Maybe it had become corrupted, I don't know. Everything seems okay now but the malware may still be there. So I've posted the 4 logs from the software your section reuqested me to use. A big thankyou for the Malware help it really helped me and the was a detailed explanation easy to follow.

Your logs are clean......are you having any other malware issues?

We can start the cleanup from running the scans:

Run this: Disable/Remove Windows Messenger to remove Windows Messenger. Do not confuse Windows Messenger with MSN Messenger because they are not the same. Windows Messenger is a frequent cause of popups.

Now Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
Make sure that you tell me if you receive a success message about adding the above
to the registry. If you do not get a success message, it definitely did not work.

That all went in fine and was added to the registry. You say the logs are clean, does that mean they didn't remove any Malware or find any? Because it seemed to all work I'm not getting anymore annoying popups from Zedo. Al though somehow my antivirus corrupted and wouldn't load to taskbar but a re-install solved. Computer seems fine now, think I should do anything else to make sure.

Thankyou for your help and time.

The scans took care of the infection and there were no residual traces in your other logs. Just do this for the final clean up and check the last link:
