I oturned ON my very old ZEOS 386 and I found that:

The screen (LCD) lacks contrast and brighness. With great difficulty I could set both to have a minimum visibility of the screen, where It said it could not find a storage device. It has a floppy drive and I can hear the sound when it attempts to access it. I don't remember if this computer booted from a floppy or what, but I think that was an option.I know it has a H.D. and I had several DOS programs installed.

I had given it to my niece and She says the last time she saw it and put her in storage she was working fine.

My question is, is the screen replaceable? Is there anything I can do to make the HD accesible??? It had been in storage for many years and I don't think it was ever dropped or hit, so I don't understand why the HD is "invisible".

As for the outside, aside from a few places where the paint has vanished, it is OK.

Anyone having information on this pc, will eb welcome to comment and give ideas to make it work again.

Thanks, I found that place; it's about the only place that has resources for a working ZEOS missing something , but remember... I cannot see what the screen says and it cannot find a OS, so I need some more repair or diagnosis information.
I think it is only good as a museum piece, although I woudl love to be able to see a DOS OS again at work.
