Zlob.Dnschanger

    Hi there first of all thanks to all here as just reading a few posts have helped me out in the past.

    On to the problem in hand i have Zlob.dnschanger and cannot get rid of it!!!
    the problem started a week ago and i have reinstalled since only for the problem to reappear instantly the logs provided are from a clean install of windows
    i hope someone can help as this is driving me insane i know that my girls comp and my dads laptop all have it too so will be moving on to fix them later

    You need to attach the log from MGtools so we can continue.

    You are way out of date with the updates for SUPERAntiSpyware. You should run it and make sure you update. Then run a full scan and attach the new log.

    Your other logs show that Malwarebytes has more than likely removed your infection. Are you still having a problem? If so, exactly what and where?

    I suggest that you delete the below file:
    C:\Windows\temp\D653F3EC.TMP

    the problem im having is firefox/IE redirecting me to some really dodgy sites. it takes several attempts to get majorgeeks up.

    no matter how many times i fix a problem with superantispyware or spybot or malwarebytes i get it within about 10 minutes again, all three report 2-6 instances of zlob.dnschanger

    it just baffles me as to how on a new install i can have the problem still i have very little information i keep and i have hard copies on disc that have no signs of the problem.

    as requested here is new log

    You did not update SUPERAntiSpyware as I requested. You are still way out of date. Please follow those instructions again and make sure your update the defintions. Then attach a new log. DO NOT attach a log unless you update first. You have to current program version which is 4.21.1004 but you are not running the current database files. You have these as seen in your log:
    You are supposed to have (as of right now) these:
    Notice how far out of date you are??? Over 200 versions.


    Also run this WareOut Removal and attach the requested log.
