zone alarm

my firewall keeps stopping my downloads can i turn it off and still be safe or should i leave it on and not download anymore. its a free version of zone alarm i am using

 

i have sygate personal firewall(free edition) and that seem to work fine.

my downloads keep saying its online maybe firewalled

 

i am not the best person to help you there are far better qualified than me,
just sit tight someone will come along.
have you got your firewall settings too high?

 

im afraid i am brand new to this i dont know what or where the settings are i downloaded it off majorgeeks only with the knowledge that i needed to have it i am sorry to be a nuisance

 

Does the download start then stop? Are you getting an error message or any message, if so what is the message?

I would not turn off your firewall, it just need some adjusting.

 

Mobile Control code has to be off to download.

It's in Privacy/Main in Pro...think in same place in Reg.
