i was looking around on google, and found a few shady fourm's about overclocking this laptop. the notebook is a zv6000 notebook, and the processor on it is an AMD64 3200+ 2.0GHz. i read somewhere that the bios was locked or something, but some program could unlock it. but like i said all that was shady. anyone on here have any exp. or suggestions for me?

i wouldnt suggest overclocking a notebook; they are hard to keep cool as it is, running at stock speeds. it may be possible but not recommended

yeah, thats very true, heat would be a problem, and probably hurt battery life...

I used to own that laptop, with 512 MB RAM, AMD 64 3200+, and the 128 MB video card and a 5400 RPM hd. Let me tell you something... that laptop runs pretty hot allready, and I don't think OC'ing any laptop, much less this hot desktop replacement is a good idea.
