    Welcome to Major Geeks!

It would be a lot more helpful to us if you explained why you are posting logs. What malware problems are you having?

Your logs don't really show anything significant to worry about.

You should uninstall Viewpoint Media Player as requested in step 1 of the READ ME.

Sorry for not putting all the info on that you might need.
I have 2 problems one my pc is getting very slow. I am on a 8mb broadband package and most times can only connect at 80 to 100 kbs. I have had downloads as slow as 30kbs.
The other more worrying thing is my screen shuts down but everything else seems to keep working. I have to switch off and reboot it.

I thought I had deleted everything that the READ ME told me and will do it again.
I have antivirus running it is part of the ZoneAlarm Security Suite.
    I hope this helps.
I had one malware I think called GROKLOADER which was found.
I hope this is enough info. Thanks for your help

As I said in my previous message, you do not show signs of malware.

ZoneAlarm Security Suite could just be placing too high a demand on your PC's resources. You could try uninstalling it to see how things work.

Your monitor shutting down or loss of video (I'm not sure what you meant) sounds like a hardware issue. Perhaps many of your problems are hardware related.

We could run a few more scans if you wish to still dig deeper looking for malware, but I'm not sure they will reveal any major issues. If you wish to do this, you can run the below and attach the requested logs:

    Using Sophos Anti-Rootkit

    Using ESET's Online Scanner

    Bitdefender

The last two are inline scanners and if your internet connection is slow, they could take a very long time to run. A slow connection also does not necessarily mean malware. It could be your ISP or a problems with your DSL modem (I'm assuming you are on DSL). Perhaps your DSL modem is training at a very low rate. This could be due to nosiy phone lines.

    Many thanks for your help.
I will see if it is hardware problems.
I don't just lose video, the whole monitor switches off. I was told it was a virus so that is why I have tried to find it here on your site.
    Many thanks once again.

You're welcome. Surf safely and let's cleanup from what we installed.

    1. If we used ComboFix then UNINSTALL COMBOFIX (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN
      • Now type combofix /u in the runbox and click OK.
      • Note: The space between the X and the /U, it must be there
    2. You can delete the C:\MGtools folder and the C:\MGtools.exe file. You can also delete the C:\MGlogs.zip
    3. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
