acgenral.dll nosound

    Sorry for bothering but, i keep getting this constant error : Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

    Data the error report contains :
    Error Signature
    szAppName : svchost.exe
    szModName : AcGenral.dll
    szAppVer : 5.1.2600.2180
    szModVer : 5.1.2600.2993
    offset : 000116e2

    After i get this error message, the sound of any unstarted program stops. It's getting on my last nerves. Please Help !

    I ran some scans with an antivirus program, some malware was found, but this error keeps pop-ing up. Can anyone help ?

    Your problem with svchost may not have anything to do with malware, but since you mentioned having malware problems, you need to run our malware removal guide to be sure.
