Ad-Aware stucks at conditional scan

Hey there,

I'm going through all the step listed in the Read Me Before Asking for Support sticky on my PC. I've been experiencing general slowness, unwanted pop-ups, etc.

However, I get stuck at running Ad-Aware, because it cannot finish the scan.

When it gets to conditional scans, it sticks there an never finishes the scan. I've tried the following commande line, but behaviour repeats:

"C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware SE Personal\Ad-Aware.exe" +procnuke +cskip

Should I just go ahead and skip the Ad-Aware step, or is there another way to skip the conditional scan?

Ewido worked fine. Now, Windows Defender gets stuck as well after about 10 minutes of scan (following the norma string of instructions in the Read me sticky). I'm going forward and will run the online scans before posting the logs later (ewido, panda and bitdefender).

Should I run Hijackthis and post that log file as well?
