Can a pro help me remove malware please?

Since clicking on a site that had a nasty pop-up, I have been getting repeated sounds of the USB port being plugged in and out. The only way to stop the noise is to disable Windows Sounds. But eventually this malware becomes so frequent that it affects my ability to type words. Also the mouse freezes and I have to reboot my computer.
I have reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled windows several times.
This seems to reduce the frequency of the sounds, but they start increasing again whenever I use websites that require adobe flash player (amongst other things).

I have run Malwarebytes, Kaspesky, Eset, Spybot, but they can find nothing.

I have no USB drives plugged in my USB ports.

    I am running windows 8.1.

Usually reinstalling Windows cleans up everything but this nasty infection must be hiding somewhere else?
Do any experts out there have any ideas of how I can get rid of this?

    Thank you Eldon,

I have scanned with the 5 programs and included the logs in the attachment.
No malware has been found, but the sound (which is exactly the sound when you plug in a USB drive) continues to haunt me at random intervals.

Not seeing any malware in those logs at all.

You can re run Hitman, activate the free trial and have it remove this entry:

I suggest you post back in software regarding your problem. Best of luck! :)

    Thanks for the reply.
The logs are no longer relevant, as I have re-installed Windows almost every day since I first posted the thread.
I bought a new hard drive (SSD) as one computer tech I spoke to said that a failing hard drive could be the problem.
    However the problems continue:

When I downloaded Adobe Flash player for my browser (after a fresh installation of Windows 8.1) , the continuous sound of the USB entering started repeating. I hadn't even installed the player yet. It was when the download finished. This might be a clue, given the recent security breaches found in Abobe Flash player.

Sometimes my keyboard just stops working - no letters come up on the screen.
But rebooting usually works. If it doesn't, I have a hard time re-installing windows as it requires entering the registration code, so I have to use the restore function.

Every 20 minutes or so, my mouse pointer freezes for about 5 seconds.

Do these symptoms give any clue as to where the malware is hiding.
This is by far the worst one I have encountered.

I really don't think the problem is malware. ;) Especially since you have reinstallled Windows. I suggest you continue this in the software forum.

If it's not malware, then what could it be?
Also, why would downloading Adobe Flash player trigger the problem?

I don't know. I specialise in Malware removal. Posting in the software forum would give you more answers to your questions.
