Cc Cleaner

Computer: Win 7 home edition 64 bit, Firefox

I downloaded CC cleaner to try and get problems with my computer fixed. I thought I selected programs I did not want CC cleaner to bother. I missed some, and cleaner wiped out my banking history, keeps cleaning my browser, and deletes history constantly. This is causing me problems as I have to keep downloading (?) what CC Cleaner keeps deleting.
Do I delete all of CCC, and then download it again, or is there a way to stop it from automatically cleaning my browser which is what I attribute to this download-clean-download-clean cycle?
And I am aware of some open inquiries I have. I will close the as soon as I resolve those matters. I am waiting on suggestions pertaining to them.

On the left side it has tabs for Windows and Applications. Select the applicable tab, scroll to your browser and uncheck the box beside 'history'.

 

Thank you Dr M, I did a quick skim of it, intend to read it carefully tomorrow. I might surprise you and learn something about CCC
