Help - eprotectpage.com, etc.

Hi. I am having problems with eprotectpage.com as my homepage. I cannot change the homepage. I am also getting random popups, for spyware programs and even some adult sites. I am also getting little balloons in the bottom right corner saying i have spyware and to click the balloon to remove it (coming from a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in the middle).

I have run all the programs and followed all the steps.

And i have attatched the required files.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As an update, i am not noticing the problem of the pop-ups or the little balloon in the lower right corner. But i still have the eprotectpage.com as my homepage. So it seems to be getting better but, something is still there.

Still any help would be great.

 

First, please look in Add/Remove Programs for QualityCodec and uninstall if found.

Next you need to relocate HJT to a safer location such as C:\Program Files\HJT. Once you complete this procede to the next step.

See this thread on Using SDFix and attach the log once complete. Also attach a fresh HJT log.
