Help my computer is really infected!

    I dont know how to post avast anti-virus log files so i can tell you this

    names A0078544.exe
    A0088583.exe
    A0092028.exe
    A0092775.exe

    all these files are in C:\System Volume Information\_restore
    and to lazy to type the rest of the location

    i have these viruses
    Win32:Gaobot-2435 [Trj]
    Win32:Zlob-BKW [Trj]
    Win32:Zlob-BKW [Trj]
    Win32:Zlob-BKW [Trj]

    and all of them are quarantined

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

    Everything you needed to do was posted in the sticky threads in the forum. Did you happen to read them as required before posting? Bumping like this last message only cost you more delay ( see: Don't Bump! It Only Hurts You!!! which is another sticky thread )

    If what you are detecting is only in System Restore and Quarantines, the answer is rather simple, toggle System Restore (disable and then enable which will delete restore points) and empty your quarantines.

    If you have other malware issues, run the READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide sticky thread posted in the forum.
