is anything wrong with my pc?

anyone willing to help plz?

my computer is getting slower than ever. it takes like 1 min to open My Computer, and like 10x slower to load a page in IE. also, i cant ever install or uninstall any program, all of them say "cant make a temperary file" or something like that. i used spybot and found lots of problems. i also used hijack this, heres the log file for it. can anyone plz help me solve these problems? give me links or if you know how give detailed instructions. by the way im not really good at computers, try to make the instructions easy to follow. you can email them to me at mastercheif518@yahoo.com or post em here. thanks in advance!

Do not copy and past logs into your post; always include them as attachments.

You have more thatn 1 Antivirus application installed on your computer. Only use 1 AV program, by have more than 1 installed creates conflicts. Avast or AVG, pick 1 uninstall the other.

Scan with HijackThis and fix the following:

Download
- Pocket Killbox

Now run Pocket Killbox:

Choose Tools -> Delete Temp Files and click the RED X.

Run Killbox.exe. Paste the below filenames into KILL BOX one at a time. Check mark the box that says "Delete on Reboot" and checkmark the box "Unregister DLL" (If available) Click the RED X and it will ask you to confirm the file for deletion…say YES and when the next box opens prompting you to reboot now...click NO...and proceed with the next file. Once you get to the last one click YES and it will reboot. Note many of the file list below may not exist but we need to check for them anyway.

If Killbox does not reboot or you get a Pending Operations type error message just reboot your PC yourself.

Now boot into SAFE MODE

Open Windows Explorer navigate to and DELETE the following: (Some of these may have already been deleted by Pocket Killbox)

Now run CCleaner. If you have Windows XP delete the contents of C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch.

Then, as an added precaution, Go to Start -> Run and type: cleanmgr and then click OK. Make sure the boxes for these are checked:
Temporary Files
Temporary Internet Files
Recycle Bin

And Click OK.

REBOOT to Normal Mode.

Follow the directions for Running Spy Sweeper

Post the Spy Sweeper log and a fresh HijackThis log.

all right, thanks for helping so far . so i did what the steps said. but in the part where it told me to fix 10 problems in a HiJackThis scan, i couldnt delete two of the items, which were:

03 - Toolbar: (no name) - ...
015- Trusted Zone: http://ny.content...

because they werent there.
i also couldnt start the system in Safe Mode (i know how to though), because when it starts on safe mode, the computer just shuts down and restarts. i tried going on to safe mode 3 times, but it never worked so i didnt go to the safe mode part. in the part where i had to delete the contents of prefetch, i could delete all but one file...

thats the only problems in the instructions i had.

Scan with HijackThis and fix the following:

Please run Panda Online Scan. After the scan attach the log to your next post. Also please follow the below:

1 - Please EXTRACT all files from Qoologic Tool to its own folder - C:\Program Files\QoologicFinder . Then, DoubleClick Find-Qoologic.bat to run the tool. It should produce a log - Please attach that with your next post!

2 - Please EXTRACT all the files form RKFiles Tool to its own folder named C:\Program Files\RKTOOL. Then, Please boot to SAFE MODE and DoubleClick rkfiles.bat to run the tool. Let it run and then, when it finishes, look for a log at C:\Log.txt and please attach that log.

Now come back here and post all three logs as attachments

ok, i want my pc very protected, since my other laptop is barely useable thanks to these stupide hacker crap . so here is a logfile i found using ad-aware, and another using hijackthis. there were 53 tracking cookies found on ad-aware. is anything wrong?

but my first thread is about my laptop, which i gave up to fixing because its probably broken already. i cant install/uninstall anything, only the ones without an installer (like hijackthis). so i couldnt do other scans like panda scan. the last two threads is about my desktop, which i'm trying to find out if anything's wrong with it since i dont want to lose it like my laptop.

 

You never came back and told anybody that. There are plenty of tools available to us to find out what is going on. You need to tell us when something doesn't run or won't install,

Just because ActiveX isn't working or things aren't installing doesn't mean the computer is total loss.

Let's get your desktop cleaned up and go backtop the laptop. Since it has been several days, and we have changed our tutorial. Start over with the scans. This time tell us what works and doesn't work.

 

k. ill go do the scans for my laptop tomorrow, since its too late right now.

 

sorry, i've been sick all week last week so i couldnt have the chance to scan. so i tried again today, and the laptop cant start at all. i mean, it can start, but i freezes before you can even access something. i've tried safe mode, but the computer restarts about 10 seconds it starts in safe mode. i've tried system restore but it has an error message saying something about 'no being able to start the system restore.' i dont think we can even fix it now.

so lets try cleaning my desktop first then ill try seeing if i can finally start the laptop. so do i have to do all the steps in the thread "Go here before posting any help" again?

k i did the scans.

 

Scan with HijackThis and Fix the following:

REBOOT to Safe Mode.

Ok, I've done all the steps except for deleting C:\WINDOWS\system32\mllmm.dll. It wasnt there. But I did delete the other file. That's the only problem with what I was supposed to do, but anyways here are the logfiles.

 

Using the Search funtion in the Start Menu search for prqss.* delete every instance found.

Post a fresh HijackThis log.

 

I couldn't find any prqss files using the search function.

 

Your log is clean.

The insatlled Java version is out of date. You should consider updating Java to teh latest version.

Disable System Restore and then enable System Restore. This will flush all your restore points and create a new clean one for your system.

wow, thanks for helping me clean the computer. i could kinda see a difference by playing counter strike, whenevever theres a lot of people i always lagged. so ill try if i can start the laptop up.
