When trying to click on a link (xp pro) with firefox or IE, for example I get:
    http //www.tkqlhce com/click-361116-10462997?sid=FW7o9wy3&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.staples.com%2Foffice%2Fsupplies%2FStaplesProductDisplay%3FjspStoreDir%3DStaples%26fromUrl%3Dsearchnoresults%26catalogId%3D10051%26productId%3D249924%26cmArea%3DSEARCH%26errorUrl%3Dsearchnoresults%26langId%3D-1%26storeId%3D10001%26cmSearchKeyword%3D759689&cm_ven=CJ&cm_cat=358129&cm_pla=361116&cm_ite=Ongoing+-+Staples+Basic

The above will show in the address location but I

    I get
*click-361116-10462997 (GIF Imag..)* in the browsers page heading but no information, just a blank page.
Something is preventing me from going to the page. I removed all spy software and running kaspersky AV. I have shut down KAV and still have the same problem. I also checked the host file, there are no entries. Also did a search for tkqlhce, with no luck.
I also get the same results if I click on a clickserv link.

    Any input would be appreciated...
Reformating and clean install is my last resort, I have a ton of software installed.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Moving this over to malware forum as I believe you still have some malware redirecting you via a site that is designed to generate cash for clicktroughs, to the below is a start in getting you to a known point and generating some logs as not all malware can be automatically found by applciations, yuo also need a trained eye to spot the subtle changes in the random titles of malware files. Please do note that as malware is a massive issue these days the experts here are very busy with malware removals but they will get to you as soon as they can, so please be patient as they are very good at what they do.

Please follow the instructions in the READ & RUN ME FIRST link given futher down and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.
    • If you have problems where no tools seem to run, please try following the steps given in the below and then continue on no matter what you find. You only need to try the TDSSserv steps if having problems getting scans in the Read & Run Me First.
    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

    Notes:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can run steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
