Hello everyone, I have posted three logs (Bitdefender, Panda, and HijackThis). I am cleaning up a friends computer was wondering if someone could take a look at the attachments and help me with this. The computer seems to run fine, I just want to make sure I rid this thing of any malware if it is there. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Not clean yet! Why didn't you run Windows Defender?

Do realize this PC has no protection install?
    - No antivirus
    - No antispyware
    - No firewall

No wonder there are such really BAD trojans installed on it. Take the below information seriously.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You have been infected with a TWO Password Stealing Trojans: Trojan.W32.Torpig

See this links for what you have: http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/processlibrary/ibm00001/

Since you appear to use this PC for financial related matters, you must take this possible threat seriously.

You are strongly advised to do the following immediately:
    1. Disconnect infected computer from the internet and from any networked computers until the computer can be cleaned. If you have network compters, start checking them for problems too.
    2. Call all of your banks, credit card companies, financial institutions and inform them that you may be a victim of identity theft and to put a watch on your accounts or change all your account numbers.
    3. From a clean computer, change *all* your online passwords -- for email, for banks, financial accounts, PayPal, eBay, online companies, any online forums or groups you belong to.
Do NOT change passwords or do any transactions while using the infected computer because the attacker will get the new passords and transaction information.

Now let's work on some fixes but even fixing these does not change the fact that financial security may have already been compromised!!!

Make sure viewing of hidden files is enabled (per the tutorial).

Run HijackThis and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = about:blank
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar =
    R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = about:blank
    R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = about:blank
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = about:blank
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {196B9CB5-4C83-46F7-9B06-9672ECD9D99B} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\winbrume.dll
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SysTray] C:\Program Files\etfynq.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [eventwvr] C:\WINDOWS\system32\eventwvr.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [eventwvr] C:\WINDOWS\system32\eventwvr.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Shell] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Folders\ibm00001.exe"
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [eventwvr] C:\WINDOWS\system32\eventwvr.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [srshost.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\srshost.exe

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.
Boot into safe mode and use Windows Explorer to delete:
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\winbrume.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\eventwvr.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\srshost.exe
    C:\Program Files\etfynq.exe
    C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\update.exe
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Folders\ibm00001.exe <--- look for any files here that begin with ibm00 and end with anything else and delete them.

If you get an error when deleting a file. Right click on the file and check to see if the read only attribute is checked. If it is, uncheck it and try again. Other wise open Task Manager and kill the process if running then delete the file.

Now if running Win XP goto c:\windows\Prefetch and delete all files in this folder.
Now run Ccleaner (installed while running the READ ME FIRST).

Now we need to Reset Web Settings:
    1. If you have an Internet Explorer icon on your Desktop, goto step 2. If not, skip to step 3.
    2. Now right click on your desktop Internet Explorer icon and select Properties. Then click the Programs tab and then click "Reset Web Settings". Now go back to the General tab and set your home page address to something useful like www.majorgeeks.com. Click Apply. Click Delete Cookies, Click Delete Files and select Delete all Offline content too, Click OK. When it finishes Click OK. Then skip step 3.
    3. If you do not have an Internet Explorer icon on your Desktop, click Start, Control Panel (for some systems it may be Start, Settings, Control Panel), Internet Options, Programs tab and then click "Reset Web Settings". Now go back to the General tab and set your home page address to something useful like www.majorgeeks.com. Click Apply. Click Delete Cookies, Click Delete Files and select Delete all Offline content too, Click OK. When it finishes Click OK.
Now reboot in normal mode and post a new HJT log.

Make sure you tell me how things are working now.

Reminder Note: Once we have determined you are malware free you will need to disable System Restore, reboot, and re-enable system restore per step 1 of the READ & RUN ME. This only applies to if using WinXP or WinMe.

Holy crap, have done everything you have said in the previous post. Windows defender would not install on the computer, I think because XP was reinstalled from another cd or something. Anyway, went through and killed all the processes using hijackthis, and went in and deleted files you requested. Some files that were to be deleted were not present. Attached is the hijackthis log, thanks for all the help, I had no idea the computer was in such danger. The infected computer has been disconnected from the internet, so I will wait for your next advice before going any further.

Looks clean now, but for added security I suggest following the below procedure and then attaching the Ewido log:

    Running Ewido Anti-Malware

After that I would suggest that ALL steps in the below be followed immediately:

Go back to step 1 of the READ & RUN ME to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points. Then reboot and enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.

After that, you MUST work thru the below link:

How to Protect yourself from malware!

You're welcome but did you run Ewido. And did your friend get all passwords changed and did he check with all financial institutions for any possible illegal activity? Even though we have removed the malware, his security may still have been compromised since this trojans were on the PC.

I definitely passed along the information as soon as you told me the problems. Also, I did run Ewido and everything came up clean. Thanks again for all the help.
