    Hi

    I have something very wrong with my laptop!! I have been trying to get rid of it for a while but with no luck!

    I am unable to update my virus software or run and windows updates, also when I say use google to search for something and click on the result it sends me to another web page complelty, usually some myspace page!!

    I have read the read me first section and done all the scans and attached my logs!

    any help would be great!!

    thanks in advance

    Maria :)

    You need to rerun SAS and MBAM and attach both those logs.

    Now download the current version of MGtools and save it to your root folder. Overwrite your previous MGtools.exe file with this one. Then run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:

    * SAS
    * MBAM
    * C:\MGlogs.zip

    You need to read this:
    Don't Bump! It Only Hurts You!!!

    The MBAM log should have done the trick....let's check ....since you did not attach the log when I asked you to....run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:

    * C:\MGlogs.zip

    Make sure you tell me how things are working now!
