Let us see, (App/InIq-A). Ran a scan with the Geek Squad and it tells me I have that virus on my computor. All my anti-virus do not see it to get rid of it. So the question is, How do I get rid of App/InIq-A virus? Thanks: Regards to you; not-u

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Please read ALL of this message including the notes before doing anything.

Pleases follow the instructions in the below link:

READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

    • **** If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going. ****
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not. MGtools will frequently run even when all other tools will not.

    • After completing the READ & RUN ME and attaching your logs, make sure that you tell us what problems still remain ( if any still do )!
    Helpful Notes:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode, you can run the steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:

    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools and the manual updates for SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes ( links are given in the READ & RUN ME) onto another PC and then burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
    3. If you cannot seem to login to an infected user account, try using a different user account (if you have one) in either normal or safe boot mode and running only SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes while logged into this aother user account. Then reboot and see if you can log into the problem user account. If you can then run SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes, ComboFix and MGtools on the infected account as requested in the instructions.
    4. To avoid additional delay in getting a response, it is strongly advised that after completing the READ & RUN ME you also read this sticky:

Any additional post is a bump which will add more delay. Once you attach the logs, your thread will be in the work queue and as stated our system works the oldest threads FIRST.

    What???

What?????????????? Who can deciper that nonsense? It says do this, then do this, then do this, and so on, on so on. I am sorry but I am not very computor knowledgeable. I can surf but I can not do all that. I have a learning disability when it comes to computors. I am of the 'Older' generation. Calculators were not invented when I was a kid. So please help an 'old man' out. Regards to you; not_u.

From one old man to another, the guide is really fairly simple. What we mainly need you to do is to download:
SuperAntispyware ---- run it and attach the log.
MalwareBytes Anitmalware ---- run it and attach the log.
ComboFix --- run it and attach the log.
C:MGTools.exe ---download, run and attach the resultant log : C:\MGLogs.zip.

    Please read this:
How to attach items to your post.

I will be here when you are ready to attach the logs. It is the only way I can see into your system to tell what is going on.

Thanks TimW. Sorry about the delay but I have been very busy trying to make a living. Actually this here virus or malware does not appear to do anything. Sometimes my IE locks up and I have to force a restart or an end program. A pain I know. And about downloading my logs, I do not know how. I feel my problem is too small to bother anyone about it. Much less a pro. But I would like to get rid of it. I am currently running the dreaded Norton and I have two other programs not running that I scan with at times to see what the others missed. Thanks: not.u

I am more than willing to assist you with your problems. I gave you info on how to attach items to your posts. It is just a matter of running the programs that I gave you direct links to and saving and attaching those resultant logs. It may turn out that the scans remove the problems, but I would still need to see the requested logs to be certain.
