Mirar!!

I have been here before and did all of the above scanning etc. My Norton and Microsoft beta spyware both detect this "Mirar" and neither give me an option to delete.

 

If you have completed the READ ME, attach the logs from the online scans with a current HJT log.

 

Here are my logs

 

Please see the below threads on how to install and run Spy Sweeper and Ewido Anti-Malware. After you ran both programs, attach the logs to your next post along with a fresh HJT log from normal mode.

Please look in Add/Remove Programs for the following and uninstall them if found:

Ewido

Spy Sweeper

Next, run CCleaner to clean up cookies and temp files.

Run full scans with Ad-Aware SE & Spybot S&D and have both programs fix what they find.
Note: Remember to get all updates before doing the scans.

Then, as an added precaution, Go to Start > Run and type: cleanmgr and then click OK. Make sure the boxes for these are checked:

• Temporary Files
• Temporary Internet Files
• Recycle Bin

And Click OK.

After you complete the above, REBOOT and attach a fresh HJT log and let me know how things are running.

 

I will go ahead and post this fix before I go for a bit.

Download the attached file, save to your desktop. Extract the contents to it's own folder.

Reboot into Safe Mode w/ Networking. Locate the file petitefix.bat and double click to run. Please don't run anything else but this file.

After you complete this reboot back to normal mode and let me know if Mirar is still being detected.
