my computer is infected

    I released a major bug into my system, it was a downloader. I ran a bunch of scans (Norton, Spyware Doctor plus all the ones recommended on this site.) They got rid of a bunch of crap that was on there (Trojan.busky, trojan.downlaoder.small.cms) But I know I at least have one bug left because there is still a fake anti-spyware program in my icon tray. I am afraid there are that cannnot be detected. How can I tell if my computer is safe to plug back into the internet? How can I remove that fake anti-spyware? I can't find it to delete it.

    I followed all steps posted on this site. I have attached my logs on another post (Viruses and Adware help!) No one is responding to it. Please help.

    My specs:
    Windows XP SP2
    Pentium 3G processor
    1G Ram
    250G HardDrive

    Anti Virus and Anti Spyware Used
    Norton Anti-Virus
    Spyware Doctor
    Spy Bot S&D
    AdWare SE
    Plus all scnas recommended by this site.

    Please help! Thank you.

    As you will agree malware is a large issue and with many users being infected with these pests it takes time to answer all the requests for help and assist properly without cutting corners, which will just leave you still with malware on your PC.

    Your original post HERE has been answered in the queing system we adopt at Majorgeeks, as described above. While we all know how distressing and stressful having a malware infested PC is, as we all try to assist users with PC issues quickly, we do this freely and in any spare moments we may have in our day.... so we may not get to replying as quickly as we would love. Some forums that deal in malware removals, either dont get back to you or do so in a few days, we do try to aim for a reply in 24hrs+ but sometimes this is not possible,

    I will lock this thread as your other one has been answered and is the main current thread on your problems :)
