Okay I am supposed to be moving to here. I don't know why - I didn't know what I was doing in the first place but apparently I will understand it better if I move here.

yes it would be for the best.. you mention the pop ups and that isn't good. (Do you use Internet Explorer or Firefox?) Either way... without answering that here your logs will reveal all if you follow thru the procedures there and attach the 4 requested logs from running the tools required.

I'm sorry. I guess I just have to deal with a messed up computer. I am in no way a computer geek and just get more confused with everything I am told to do. The instructions are great if you know what you are doing. I do not.

Hey, I've been there too don't worry :) We will help you every step of the way if you need. Speeding up your computer can also be dealt with in malware removal as an optional fix to free up resources, so keep at it, and you'll be just fine. Ask anything you need to, but when you post in malware removal, you can't keep adding replies like you do here as it's considered a "bump" as explained here:

Don't Bump! It Only Hurts You!!!

In the case of the malware forum ideally what you wanna do is read very carefully thru the read and run me first procedures making you you follow everything as best you can, skipping steps that don't work, making a note of any possible error messages you may receive and to post the 4 requested logs, from running the following tools; those being:

    • SUPERantispyware
    • Malware Bytes
    • Combofix
    • MGTools

if you do not wish to follow malware removal procedures to scope out anything that's lurking let us know and we can go about it another way, starting off with using Ccleaner to see your start up list. But my priority would be seeing if my machine was clean.

well I broke our own forum rules by answering your thread before other ones waiting in the queue :( I didn't pay attention and I thought this was in the software section. My apologies. Let me know what you want to do anyway.
