need help with pdanet driver for laptop

Hello,
I am having a major problem successfully downloading pdanet to my laptop although I downloaded it on my pc fine. When I try to connect is says successful at first but the error message is ( DNS not verified). Also, I am not sure how to configure or set my network adapter to the right setting to allow me to connect to the internet. HELP!!!! Can your troops come to my rescue? Thank you so much!!!

Please post the make/model of your PC with the version of Windows you're running (along w/ service pack). Please explain the problem with "pdanet" more clearly: do you have a PDA that works OK on one PC but not another? is "pdanet" completely different from using an actual PDA? if you're using a PDA, the make & model would be VERY helpful.

Unfortunately, we aren't mind readers here at MG A good read about posting here in the "Driver Forum" can be found here, and it may prove helpful.

Some details would be appreciated (and are almost required) before anyone can offer any help.

I'm not up to date about pdanet. I was using one during Palm days on my Treo phone and had no problems.

You can copy your existing (previously downloaded) "pdanet" from PC to laptop. via SD Card, portable drive or using bluetooth.

First you did not specify what kind of phone you have as they have different drivers for different phones.
I have Nexus One now and have no problems whatsoever connecting to my Notebook.

I am using window vista on my laptop. I had also installed all the drivers but I am unable to install soundcard driver. I am here looking for IT support herts who helps me to install soundcard reader driver.
