Need help with Surfside

I recently discovered Surfside Kicker 3 on my computer along with several other spyware entries using Spybot Search and Destroy. Spybot was able to remove the other entries however it could not remove SSK even in Safemode. I tried to delete it manualy but had no luck because I kept getting the message that the program was in use. Could I please get some help as to how I can get rid of this program. Thanks.

• Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

I have tried the process outlined in the sticky thread about Surfside. I found the repairs.dll but it wasnt the 2 that were specified in the thread.
repairs302972985.dll was the file that I found and when I tried to use the Unlocker I got a blue screen a few seconds afterwards and it said the system has been shutdown. I was unable to ctrl+alt delete to task manager so I ran HJT and I will post my log. I am at a total loss of what to do. Any help you can give me will be appreciated.


P.S. I ran CCleaner and Spybot S&D

Uninstall Malware via Add/Remove Programs

After you complete the above thread, follow the below instructions...

Run the below online scans..

• Panda Active Scan
• Bitdefender

After you complete the online scans above, save the logs and run the last step below...
Please see the below thread on how to install and run Ewido Security Suite.

After you complete this post, reboot and attach a fresh HJT log, the 2 logs from the online scans and the Ewido log.
