Newer Operating Systems

I occasionally run through the Virus Removal process to verify to me that my computer is clean. I find you've added or changed software to use and it's amazing that even though I don't seem to have an issue, I'll find and clean one up.

I love your site and refer folks to it often.

Today I was going to run the malware removal due to some strange happenings and a phone call from "Microsoft" offering to fix my computer for a fee.

When I reread the "Read Me First" page I noticed that it provided instruction for various windows systems but stops at 7. I have one laptop running 8.1 and a desktop running 10. Should I be running the windows 7 steps or are there other directions out there that I'm missing?
