radeon x800 pro oc ..

this card came in the box with 12 pipelines enabled but i can go 16 from what i've heard, how can i unlock that? also i've read reviews and .. this card has somewhat of an extreme oc ability... from 900mhz (box) to 1100mhz or more..
also ive put an arctic cooler silencer on it which brings down my temp..
so... what programs can i use for my speed and my pipelines.. an all in one program would be great..

you gotta flash the card's BIOS. here's one guide i found: http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/overclocking/vidcard/100 just google it, there's tons of info on that mod

 

sleepy i asked on that forum. the response i got said i had a separate card than that one..

 

also mine has the r420 chip, and my atitool doesnt work.. neither does catalyst control center.. ive tried reinstalling.. still no workie... missing dlls but when i put em in it stil doesnt work..

 

uninstall all ati related drivers.. clean your registry.. reinstall current drivers for whichever bios you are running on your card..

fixed my problems when i was trying to make my x850 Pro be x850xt..

 

i did that.. i still got nothin.. im gonna see if i can find any programs to oc it that WILL run..

actually, nvm you can let this die now.. ive found ati tray tools.... works incredibly well.. showed my fps while in games, can oc massively, open up piplines, change fan speeds.. even force it to shader 2.1 instead of 2.0... very very good program.. i would recommend to anybody.
