I was having severe computer problems and ran through procedures in read and run until I got to combofix.
My computer seems to be running ok now.
Should I go ahead and run combofix?
Will it find problems that previous scans did not?
    thanks in advance.

HELP! can't delete mgtools files in C/RECYCLER

I ran all tests except combofix. I posted earlier question about if it's necessary. I am not using a helper and everything looked good. But no one has answered that question yet several hours later.
So I haven't run it yet.

Now I am doing final steps which includes deleting mgtools in C:\.
Other programs are on a CD, not on my hard drive.

I deleted the mgtools files/folders in C:\ and then other mgtools files/folders popped up which I can't delete in location C:\RECYCLER\S-1-5-18 and 1-5-21 with a lot of numbers after that.

Do I still have a problem?

You should read the stickies. No one answers in hours. We work on oldest threads first and yours was not the oldest. Now it is the oldest which is why it is now being answered. And when you posted this message you cost yourself almost another day of waiting time. This was explained in the READ & RUN ME. See: Don't Bump! It Only Hurts You!!!

Don't know! You did not follow the instructions which said

    thanks for the reply.
I did not run combofix. I do not seem to be having problems.
I purchased avast and ran a full scan which did not find anything.
I am very impressed by read & run and majorgeeks! I appreciate this resource!

    You're welcome.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no protection. They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /u
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /u, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
      • Delete the C:\combofix folder from combofix (if it exists)
    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    6. You can delete the C:\MGtools folder and the C:\MGtools.exe file. You can also delete the C:\MGlogs.zip
    7. If you are running Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning procedures in step 3 the READ ME for your Window version and see the instructions to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    8. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
