Scanguard

Getting a lot of hype about Scanguard, a security program. Being hawked as last security program I will need.
I only need download their free scan. Supposedly it "identifies flaws on your network and any hidden threats on your device. Then it locates redundant files and cached memory, removing the hidden files that make your PC run slow." Of course I would need to purchase the actual program to accomplish what it promises.
Having been bitten by a download, I hesitate to stick just anything in my computer. Anyone know, vouch or caution regarding it? It sort of sounds too good.

Looks like a fairly complicated web of deception being spun by someone.

 

If it's a advert don't trust the hype.This program seems to leave dirty files on your system after uninstalling it.

Keep up with malwarebytes and super anti spyware and your good to go.

The only program thus far that i found worthy of keeping is Advance system care i have been using them since first Beta testing.And have had very little issues with there security programs.

And i would run the microsoft security essentials.

 

There was a thread here in the Forums about ScanGuard some time ago. Avoid it.
